Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. is 145 year old and well reputed Indian MNC, having annual Turnover around USD 650 millions. In addition to its own group companies, SPCL is the single largest shareholder of TATA group. SPCL is setting up a 2640MW Super Critical coal Fired Thermal Power Plant in Western Coast of India, with additional capacity of 1320 MW during next Phase after acquiring sufficient coal concessions to feed its power plant. This office is spearheading acquisition of coal assets in Indonesia to produce around 250 MMT coal to meet the captive requirement of its power plant in India.

1. Geologist (Jakarta Raya, Jambi, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Selatan, Kalimantan Timur, Riau, Sumatera Barat, Sumatera Selatan, Sumatera Utara)

Responsibilities:

• Exploring opportunities of coal concessions.
• Geological Investigation of coal IUP/KP for its suitability to take up for further discussion
• Site visit to investigate the concession area to find potential geological signatures such as coal outcrops within the concession area
• Geological mapping and sampling as per standard norms
• Identifying drilling company to take up exploratary drilling
• Supervision of exploratary drilling and maintaining geological logs
• Geological Modelling

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Doctorate, Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.

2. Head Coal Processing and Quality Assurance (Jakarta Raya - project area)

Responsibilities:

• The selected candidate should be a graduate with specialization in coal and coal technologies and at-least 15 years experience in the coal industry, of which at-least 10 years should be in managing a coal quality evaluation, handling, blending, processing and beneficiation technologies and processes.
• Must have thorough exposure to coal drying processes and have designed./ managed coal drying operations.
• The person would be required to identify, evaluate, recommend, install and operate suitable coal enhancement technologies for improving the coal quality for the group's captive power plant in India.
• He should have knowledge and hands on experience in managing coal quality requirements of a power plant and should be conversant with the international coal sampling and testing procedures.

Core competencies include :

• Sourcing suitable technology for coal up-gradation including drying
• Knowledge of coal sampling and testing procedures
• Coal drying operations management
• Plant maintenance schedules
• Stockpile maintenance planning
• Project management
• Budgeting

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Doctorate, Engineering (Mining/Mineral), Chemistry, Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia
• At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in project area.
• Preferably Senior Management/General Manager/CEO/VP/Directors specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
