A pioneer of private sector participation in water utility services in Indonesia – jointly owned by an established Indonesian Company and an International Water/Wastewater Utility Company is seeking a professional, qualified individual to fill the positions:

Occupation Health & Safety Coordinator (Riau - Batam)

Responsibilities:

• Develop internal health and safety policies, procedures and safety management system and compliance strategies to ensure the system meet statutory obligations/requirements
• Develop and implement a comprehensive OHS training program
• Undertaking safety and hazard audits including workplace assessments such as ergonomic, manual handling, etc.
• Providing technical support, coaching, and mentoring to drive the OHS practices to create a positive safety culture including the management of specific plans and risk management system, monitoring government compliance, development and facilitation of education, investigation and periodically reporting
• Assist QH & S Manager to develop and implements processes, methods, and tools designed to measure, evaluate, and monitor departemental safety performance
• Establish budget proposal for the operation of the OHS office and specific training programs

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): having ak3 certification, having internal auditor k3/ohsas 18001:2007 & iso 9001:2008, having irca (lead auditor) certification will be an advantage, knowledgeable to access hirac, Having knowledge in the fields of safety compliance and auditing.
• Required language(s): English
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Batam.
• Preferably Coordinator/Supervisors specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
• Full-Time positions available.
