Our client, an established foreign bank in Singapore is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of a Regional Credit evaluator to be based in Singapore covering Corporate Credit Proposals from Indonesia:

Regional Corporate Credit Risk Analyst - Singapore based (AVP/VP)
SGD 5000 - 12000 + variable bonus
(Singapore - Raffles Place)

Responsibilities:

• Support Indonesian corporate relationship managers to ensure timely preparation as well as evaluation of credit proposals that are of high credit quality and standard based on independent verification/ assessment of all relevant related risks
• To work closely with business units to ensure a viable and healthy credit portfolio via effective active monitoring as well as collaboration with business units in the structuring of appropriate credit solutions/ facilities
• To ensure proposals comply with the credit policies of the Bank as defined in the credit guidelines as well as local regulatory requirements
• Manage the credit approval workflow to ensure that sufficient time is allocated for credit proposals to be passed through the Bank’s approval process
• To ensure approval procedures & credit standards conform to established guidelines
• To assume the secretariat function to credit committee(s) on a rotational basis
• To perform any other functions as and when required or assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a good Bachelor's Degree
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in a global foreign bank in Indonesia in a corporate credit risk analysis and management role
• Critical analytical skills with ability to write concise credit proposals
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good team player with strong communication skills
• Good understanding of current market & business risks as well as business conditions in the Indonesian market
• Sound knowledge of lndonesia regulatory requirements
• Good understanding of banking and financial instruments/products
• Competent knowledge of credit risk management practices
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Indonesia
